about the author

Storyteller. Explorer. Magic Believer.
Dana Flores was born in New York, raised in Indiana, and has always been drawn to the crossroads of history and myth. A lifelong student of folklore and a new Harley rider, Dana finds ordinary places hiding extraordinary stories. Blood Magic is her debut novel — a healing magic fiction story about inheritance, power, and the women who refuse to be small.

Dana grew up reading regional legends and collecting the oral histories found in small towns. Those early hours of listening shaped the voice that became Blood Magic — a fantasy series for adults where everyday landscapes hide dangerous truths.

She now lives in Indiana with her family. When she’s not writing, Dana rides long stretches of highway on her Harley, digging into roadside histories, or researching odd artefacts for her next story.

Dana is available for interviews, book club Q&As, and festival appearances. Contact via the site for bookings and speaking inquiries.
